A bilingual communications (Spanish-English) professional with intermediate working knowledge in German and Portuguese, Victoria has implemented successful national and local branding, message development and strategy on behalf of government, nonprofit and corporate clients. She has a passion for social marketing and reaching communities with a message or a service that can change lives, improve access and provide opportunities.
Currently, Victoria is responsible for developing, writing, editing and publishing content for USA.gov, GobiernoUSA.gov and Kids.gov as well as their social media channels. Victoria is also responsible for developing and managing an integrated bilingual email marketing strategy. She tracks usage trends, markets content, and makes strategic recommendations on content curation and partnerships. Victoria is part of USAGOV’s web content team, marketing team, accessibility team (508 compliance); and is a frequent contributor to DigitalGov.gov and Blog.USA.gov thought leadership content.
Victoria has over 10 years of experience in project management, multicultural communications, media relations, public relations, advertising, broadcast production, language adaptation and transcreation. She has received multiple awards for her work from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), has been the recipient of two Thoth Awards, a MarCom Award and an Aster Award for a national PSA making seniors aware of their medical benefits.
She is also a national board member of the Hispanic Public Relations Association where she spearheaded a Digital Communicator fellowship track in partnership with the Hispanic Heritage Foundation and hosted events with other prestigious organizations such as ColorComm and Voto Latino.
