Nielsen is a leading global provider of information and insights that measures what consumers watch, buy and listen to in more than 100 countries around the world. de Armas serves as the lead for the development, activation and continuity of multicultural consumer and industry strategic initiatives, and multicultural consumer engagement strategies nationally including increasing the company’s brand awareness among African-American, Asian American and Hispanic non-profit organizations, leaders and consumers – elevating their understanding of Nielsen’s measurement services.

de Armas joined Nielsen Audio in 1998. She has previously served as vice president of community alliances events & engagement, director of multicultural marketing and director of Hispanic marketing.

As a Hispanic/Latino market expert, Stacie provides consultative guidance to external and internal groups highlighting the value of the Hispanic/Latino marketplace and experience. With more than 16 years of experience in diversity marketing, communications, media, consumer survey research and development she has an uncommon sense for problem solving, bending objections, and simplifying the complicated.

Since joining the organization Stacie has been an integral part of Nielsen’s multicultural market expansion and success, guiding Nielsen’s Audio diversity efforts and building a multicultural marketing strategy and reputation for the brand.

As champion for the company’s Hispanic and multicultural initiatives, she has built and expanded relationships with diverse communities, which has in turn strengthened Nielsen’s effectiveness in reaching and measuring those audiences. It is these relationships combined with a constant eye on innovation that drives her and makes her an invaluable asset to the company and its clients.

Stacie’s commitment to minority communities goes beyond her role at Nielsen. She is a remarkable civil servant who has devoted much of her time volunteering for public and private organizations that serve the needs of and advocate for the interests of minorities.

In December of 2014, Stacie was selected as one of Latina Style Magazine’s top 10 Latina Executives of the year.

Stacie holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and a Masters of Business Administration from Texas A & M University. She resides in Los Angeles.
