Natascha Otero-Santiago is a Hispanic Public Relations and Social Media consultant with more than twenty years’ experience. She incorporates social and traditional media to build and engage communities. Natascha OS, as she is known in new media circles, was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She holds a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Tufts University and has worked extensively with non profit organizations in Boston, Miami, and Puerto Rico.
For the past seven years, she has concentrated in helping small businesses and Fortune 500 companies with their public relations, branding recognition, and social media needs. Natascha, a seasoned public speaker who has participated and led panels in social media and community engagement, was honored by the Huffington Post as one of the International Social Media and Inspirational Leaders. An experienced special events coordinator, she has created marketing plans as well as community engagement events for her clients and volunteer organizations. Natascha is Founder of the Puerto Rican diaspora social network Parranda.org; Director of the Latinos in Social Media South Florida chapter (LATISM); member of the Board of Directors of the Social Media Club South Florida; and Community Engagement Director for Social Media Week Miami. She developed the PR/social media strategy for the 2011 Miami TedxYouth Day and 2012 TedxMiami events; and is one of the founding members of the Miami-based group which planned and hosted Mashable’s Social Media Day.
