Demand Media Studios has undergone significant growth and change during the three years I have been VP of Editorial. During my tenure, DMS has focused on quality, innovation, contributors and social.
The focus allowed us to launch an original photography & design studio, a content marketing division and renovations for LiveSTRONG and eHow.
Demand Media Studios is no longer a studio where every title gets 500 words. It’s a studio were every title gets what it needs.
Before Demand, I was the West Coast News Director for Us Weekly Magazine. I rebuilt the Los Angeles bureau to ensure the magazine successfully competed in the fast-changing landscape of celebrity journalism. I am most proud of cultivating my staff’s news metabolism, which, in turn, placed Us firmly alongside major mainstream news organizations.
