Dr. Cloty Toro is a native of NY, raised in San German, Puerto Rico. She attended Inter American University of Puerto Rico. As a member of the student council body she was involved in serving the community by organizing food drives, tutoring high school students and coordinating activities for elementary students and orphans.
Throughout her life, working with people has always been inspiring and uplifting, which guided her in the direction of choosing a career that would enable her to be in direct contact with others and to make a difference in their lives. She completed her medical school training at The Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Mexico and is currently the Chief Pediatric Resident at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY. Dr. Toro finds her work as a pediatrician fulfilling on many levels. As a pediatrician she is both a healthcare provider to children and an educator to their parents.
