Diana is the Community Manager of Latinos in Technology Innovation and Social Media (LATISM). LATISM is a 501(c) 4 nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to advancing the social, civic, and economic status of the Latino community.
Prior to joining LATISM, she was the marketing coordinator on the Multicultural Marketing team at Google. Her role entailed managing community outreach events, metric analysis, and sharing best practices to partners on how to best maximize their digital footprint. She began her trajectory at Google as an intern in 2011 and was accepted once again the following summer of 2012. During her first internship experience, Diana was on the Diversity and Talent Inclusion Team in the People Operations department and helped develop a strategic plan that would incorporate more STEM classes in Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s). The following summer, she was on the Small and Medium Business Enterprise Team for Latin America in the sales department.
Class of 2013, Diana earned her BA from Brown University in International Relations with a focus in political economy and development. She also studied politics and international affairs at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona Spain. Her main passions include bridging the digital divide, diversity inclusion, and empowering first generation college students.
