Alexandra Aquino-Fike is Hispanics in Philanthropy’s Director of New Initiatives and is responsible for managing the design and launch of select new programmatic initiatives that utilize new technologies to further HIP’s mission and expand HIP’s strategic partnerships.
Alexandra brings a wealth of experience from both the private and non-profit sectors. Most recently, Alexandra served as an associate attorney with the international law firm, Greenberg Traurig, LLP in New York. Previously, Alexandra worked as a corporate fellow at Shorebank in Chicago and before that served as a consultant with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in Italy, promoting international partnerships to promote rural development and agricultural sustainability.
Alexandra holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, where she was the Co-Chair of both the Berkeley La Raza Law Students Association and the Kennedy Diversity Committee. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College. She is a member of the State Bar of New York and the Hispanic National Bar Association. She serves on the board of SHARE El Salvador Foundation in Berkeley.
