Access to STEM Education in Minority Communities

The low participation of Latinos and African Americans in math and science classes, especially in AP courses,  has been a rude awakening for this country. Only 68% of black students attend a high school that actually offers calculus. By comparison, 81% of white high school students have the option of taking calculus. Not enough emphasis is put on teaching science and math. Join innovative leaders that are working tirelessly to ensure all students have access to rigorous courses across the board.
